Apartment in “Wine House” Housing Complex, Moscow

The 190 m2 apartment is located in a modern residential complex in the center of Moscow, on the embankment of Yauza River. The apartment for a family with three children is designed in the Art Deco style characteristic of our bureau. The interior is filled with exquisite details and luxurious surfaces.

The floor in the lobby is paved with marble set in a geometric pattern. From here, sliding doors with brass detailing lead to the living room – they are made according to individual sketches and give the whole area a stately look. The wall on which the TV is located is decorated with veneer panels in gray-blue tones. In the main living room there is also a dining area with a kitchen. This part of the room is more sedate in color – the kitchen is white, the marble backsplash is black, the dining table is made of polished dark wood and the chairs are light. The emphasis in the composition of the dining area is the ceremonial sideboard created by the designer: it’s doors are decorated with a fish scale pattern typical for Art Deco.

In the private area of the apartment there is a master bedroom, which is restrained in color, and three children’s rooms. The walls of the main bedroom are sheathed with soft fabric panels, and there is another item designed by us – a chest of drawers. The walls of the children’s rooms are covered with wallpaper, and the same wallpaper is used to decorate the wardrobe closets in each room – this is one of the characteristic techniques of our bureau.

The interior is decorated with specially selected paintings and accessories. The color scheme and the combination of all elements, from brass door profiles to carpet edging, are carefully thought out and brought together.
